Our Mission

To equip the saints, young and seasoned thru love, prayer and teaching. We believe that we can change lives thru positive leadership, holding ourselves and others spiritually accountable while teaching the word of God.  We will demonstrate a discipline in giving and an active prayer life to encourage others by our actions and not just our words. While living this christian life we hope to reach our families and change our community in an impactful way.

Bethesda Community Church was organized in July of 1999, after Minister Roderick Johnson left his family church, Christ's Willing Workers Baptist Church. There he found his passion for ministry as a Sunday School teacher and an associate minister.  Minister Johnson and his family met Pastor Jeremiah Johnson the former owner of the building located at 1902 East Ledbetter Dr. and signed a one year lease. Little did they know this would become the now headquarters for the Kingdom Living Fellowship and current home of Bethesda Community Church.

Under the leadership of God and the guidance of the Holy Spirit our pastor, Bishop Roderick L. Johnson has grown the church from the original 30+ members to its current membership of over 160+ members.  The church broadcast services via Ustream and Facebook weekly and has online viewers in many states. We have grown spiritually as well as numerically. From this ministry several churches have been birth and are growing as God sees fit.  Bishop Johnson serves as the Presiding Prelate for the Kingdom Living Fellowship, where his passion of pastoring Pastors has evolved.

Bethesda Community Church as a body is known for its love, often demonstrated by the awesome hugs that we give and it's desire to change lives, develop Kingdom living people by the transformation of not just their hearts but also their minds .
